Based on the results of the 2023 Community Needs Assessment, Lewis County Citizens perceive building financial literacy and/or resource management skills as a top 15 priority issue. Lewis County 4-H and the Lewis County Family Resource Center headed the organization and facilitation of the 4-H Dollars and Sense Program. According to America's Health Rankings, only 8.9% of Kentucky adults reported consuming two or more fruits and three or more vegetables daily in 2021.
