Fall Sewing Week

The Lewis County Extension Office hosted the 9th annual Fall Sewing Week September 11th-13th at the Lewis County Extension Office. The program started 9 years ago when Cindy Anthony contacted the Lewis County Extension office wanting to do a sewing project that would benefit the community. Local nursing homes and groups were contacted to see what items were needed. Since then the program has continued. This year after Anthony passed away the Lewis County Homemakers decided to continue the
