1.) Locally owned businesses, local entrepreneurs and interested residents benefit from educational information.
2.) Engaging and mobilizing communities to participate in discussions and improved readiness. Building bridges increases strength of Extension in times of crises or disasters.
3.) There is a need to build the capacity of volunteer leaders as it is critical for the sustainability of a community infrastructure that supports long term commitment to strengthen youth and adults.
4.) Engaging the arts in CES programs aids community health.
Community problems are solved through active engaged local leaders. Community and county businesses demonstrate use of information gained from CEDIK-based programming.
