Situation:

The Campbell County Cooperative Extension Service depends upon advisory and community leadership groups to identify, plan, implement, and evaluate our programs and activities. Leadership groups will help identify and address community needs and opportunities.

Long-Term Outcomes:

Individual, community, and environmental conditions will improve through personal involvement with the Campbell County Cooperative Extension Service's community and leadership development programs and activities.

Intermediate Outcomes:

By being engaged in Extension leadership/program groups, leaders will implement their leadership skills and help develop Extension programs and activities. Programs will be implemented to address a variety of local needs and opportunities.

Initial Outcomes:

Individuals will become knowledgeable about the opportunities to become involved in Extension leadership groups. Through their involvement, participants will gain the knowledge and skills needed to assume leadership roles. Local needs and opportunities will be identified by the Extension Leadership groups.

Evaluation:

Long-term Outcome:   Community leaders representing the various program groups of the Campbell   County Cooperative Extension Service will be engaged in a long and short term   program planning and implementation efforts. Indicator: Number of youth and adults involved in leadership groups Method: Number of organized leadership groups, observations Timeline: July 2017 - June 2018 Intermediate Outcome: Youth and adults will take on new leadership   responsibilities. Programs and activities will be developed to address local   needs. Indicator: Number of youth and adults involved in leadership groups Method: Leadership groups, meetings, observations Timeline: June 2017 - July 2018 Initial Outcome: A minimum of 50 individuals (representing different program   areas) will be involved in discussing Extension leadership opportunities.
