Situation:
To improve communication, interpersonal and social skills is a desire of many youths and adults. Public Speaking and Demonstrations are life skills for a basis of further success in most of life's accomplishments.
Long-Term Outcomes:
Overall community improvement and individual fulfillment will be enhanced by the achievement of goals attained through the completion of these programs. Youth will demonstrate public speaking skills, food preparation and life skills effectively. Youth will develop their own memorable speaking style at a local, district and state level.
Intermediate Outcomes:
Participants will learn the basics of human personality, interactions, self-expression, skills of speaking, food preparation and life skills and then put then into practice at a local and district level.
Initial Outcomes:
Participants will learn the rules and regulations of various events and classes to perform at a local level. Youth will learn life skills needed to become independent,self-sufficient citizens.
Evaluation:

Initial Outcome: Learn communication and life skills needed to perform at a local level.

Indicator: Level of skills achieved.

Method: 4-H Public Speaking, Demonstrations, 4-H Sew Fun Project, 4-H Expressive Arts Project, 4-H Teen Conference, 4-H Character Education
