Situation:

It is nearly impossible to find a career in today’s modern world that does not incorporate technology in some form of fashion. Even farming today is infused with technological advances such as GPS/GIS and more. Technology is something that is here to stay and shows no signs of slowing down. Likewise, it is imperative that youth learn to develop skills in technology so that they can utilize those skills in our ever changing technologically advanced society, So that the have the tools needed to stand out in this competitive job market.

Long-Term Outcomes:

Youth will develop an understanding of basic Science, Engineering and Technology.


Youth will develop and learn to apply basic skills in rocketry.


Youth will develop and learn to apply basic skills in electrical circuits and how electricity works and affects their everyday lives.

Intermediate Outcomes:

Youth will be instructed in basic physics and aerospace curriculum.


Youth will learn basic rocket science and how to apply it to build a model rocket.


Youth will learn the basic of drone use and how it can apply to real world applications.


Youth will discover the difference between a series circuit and a parallel circuit.

Initial Outcomes:

Youth will learn the role of Science, Engineering and Technology in the lives and why it is important to them.


Youth will be challenged to engage in research that will greatly increase their knowledge in the area of Science, Engineering and Technology.

Evaluation:

Outcome: Youth will develop an understanding of basic Science, Engineering and Technology.
