Situation:

4-H Camp offers more hours than any other delivery method in 4-H. 4-H Camp provides opportunities for youth & teens to learn independence, gain life skills that will carry them into successful adulthood, become positive & productive members of our society & learn how to acquire skills in a natural setting. Camp helps build self-confidence and self-esteem. 4-H Camp is a place to build social skills and make friends.

Long-Term Outcomes:

Campers will become a trained counselor at camp in their future.

Intermediate Outcomes:

Campers will learn responsibility by keeping up with their belongings and money at camp.

Initial Outcomes:

Campers will learn to do something new at camp. Campers will make at least one new friend at camp.

Evaluation:

Long-Term Outcome: Campers will be camp counselors
Indicator: measured through the application process
Method: written, verbal & interview
Timeline: age appropriate for application

Intermediate Outcome: Campers will learn responsibility by keeping up with their belongings and money at camp
