Situation:

As of 2015, Campbell County’s population was estimated to be 92,066. With Campbell County ranking in the top ten largest populated counties in Kentucky (92, 066) the need to model the importance of marketing the College of Agriculture, Food and Environment is an ongoing challenge for the Campbell County Cooperative Extension Service agents, assistants and support staff. Long-Term Outcomes:

Social, economic and environmental conditions/situations will improve as a result of increased awareness and utilization of the Campbell County Extension Service programs and resources.

Intermediate Outcomes:

Campbell County residents will participate and utilize the educational resources of the Campbell County Extension Service.

Initial Outcomes:

Residents will become more knowledgeable of the role of the Cooperative Extension Service through marketing opportunities. As a result, residents will aspire to become directly involved with Extension programs due to marketing techniques used.

Evaluation:

 Method: Phone calls, walk-ins, website, first time participants in our program, through agent’s observation, a comparison of last year’s statistical report to this year’s report. Use sign-in sheets or program evaluations to ID how new program participants found out about the Extension Service.
 Timeline: July 1, 2018- June 30, 2019
