The Purchase Area Master Clothing Volunteers taught a series of Upcycling sewing classes this summer in Graves county and Calloway county.The Junior 4-H Upcycling class in Graves County was a two day event were young 4-Hers ages 9 to 14 created three projects from denim. There were twelve youth, ten girls and two boys, that participated. This was a first time for the majority using a sewing machine.
