Our Laurel County Homemakers are hosting this amazing chance for the younger generation to learn sewing and creative skills as they work one-on-one with members of our various Homemaker clubs. This camp is open to children ages 8 and up. Students will learn basic machine piecing techniques including: fabric placement, how to pin fabric, sewing quilt blocks, and how to press pieces. Camp fee includes the quilt kit, pieces cut and ready to sew and a plastic container. Sewing machines are available for those who do not have one available.
