Clark County Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Agent collaborated with the counselors and FRC at Baker Intermediate School to offer the Recipes for Life Program to 358 fifth-grade students over three days in December of 2023. The Clark County Horticulture, ANR, and 4-H agents also assisted in the implementation of this program. The Scott County Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) Extension Agent collaborated with Southern Elementary School administrators and teachers within the Scott County School District to offer the Recipes for Life Program to 77 fifth-grade students. The problemHarrison County, Kentucky established Recipes for Life (RFL) in 2008. Homemakers from the community wanted to teach and mentor young people with a skill set that would help them later in life.
